Graduate of University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1988 with a B.B.A. in Finance/Commercial Banking.
Kristy began her insurance career in 1990 with State Farm Insurance as a Health Claims Examiner. In 1995, she became a Personal Lines Underwriter and in 1997 was promoted to Personal Lines Supervisor, a position she held until 2004 when State Farm announced the closure of the Monroe Regional Office. In May 2004, Kristy had the opportunity to work for America First Insurance, a regional agency market for Liberty Mutual, as a Commercial Lines Team Leader. She resigned from America First Insurance in February 2006 to become the Chief Human Resources Officer for Community Financial. In December 2007, Kristy moved to her present position as Chief Underwriting Officer; She oversees the Property/Casualty, Life/Health, Financial Institutions, Bank Agency Sales, and Human Resources Departments. In 2018, Kristy also began serving as a member of the Board of Directors.
