Community Financial Insurance Center Now Accepting Hurricane Gustav Claims

MONROE, La. - In order to make the claims reporting and communication process as simple as possible for customers in the aftermath of Hurricane Gustav, Community Financial Insurance Center is reminding customers that claims from all parts of the state can now be filed through its fully operational Baton Rouge office, as well as its Monroe-based home office via phone, FAX and e-mail, or directly to the appropriate insurance company.

Reporting Losses by Phone:

In Baton Rouge dial directly at 1-888-293-5471 or call 1-800-210-0002 in Monroe.

Reporting Losses by FAX:

You may fax losses arising out of any policy to the Community Financial Insurance FAX line at 1-225-291-9830 in Baton Rouge or 1-318-387-9171 in Monroe.

Reporting Losses by E-Mail:

You may e-mail losses arising out of any policy to .

Insurance Company Direct Loss Reporting:

Many insurance companies represented by Community Financial Insurance have direct loss reporting telephone numbers (loss reporting hotlines). A list of these insurance companies and numbers are listed on the homepage of our website.

Community Financial recommends that when reporting a loss, please have the following information available: Named Insured, Insured Address, Insurance Company, Policy Number, Policy Period, Date of Loss, Time and Location of Loss, Description of Loss, Contact Information. This will greatly simplify the claims process.

Community Financial also acquired Bogan & Formeller, Inc. of Baton Rouge in July 2005. The Fred Morgan Insurance Agency, Inc. of Rayville, La. joined Community Financial in September 2008.
